In the early hours of the morning, a collision between a Dodge Ram and a Ford Ranger on the Bunya Highway took the lives of three individuals. The impact was so severe that the Dodge Ram caught fire, leaving the male driver, who was alone in the vehicle, with no chance of survival.
But here's where it gets controversial: the Ford Ranger, driven by a 44-year-old woman, also carried two young passengers. Sadly, a 12-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Ranger, lost her life in this horrific crash.
And this is the part most people miss: another 13-year-old girl, also a passenger in the Ranger, survived but sustained serious injuries. She was rushed to Kingaroy Hospital and later airlifted to the Queensland Children's Hospital for further treatment.
