It’s as magnificently understated as I’d hoped. You can see and feel the wildersess, both inside and out of the Pumphouse. And the sounds of the lake when you open up your huge windows is serenely beautiful. And then we spotted a platypus feeding and exploring in the lake, just metres from our room. Will definitely be heading back there in winter!
